I travelled from Australia to spend 5 days to obtain skills in dirt riding. No one in my neck of the woods offers anything quite like this so I decided to go to one of the prettiest places I could find to get some intensive training.
It is unique. Not just because of the training but because of the support and the gear and bikes, and the people that run the Centre.
Nothing is too much trouble and everything is absolutely top notch. Thats no surprise because Baz lives and breathes dirt bikes and riding.
Travelling alone as a female can be daunting, but not for one moment did I experience a worry or a concern about where to go or what to expect.
I was met at the airport, taken straight to my hotel and looked after like a celebrity. I was picked up each morning and taken back at the end of the day to the best hotel in Mijas.
The gear I was kitted out with was absolutely the best available and the bike was incredible.
The training with Danny I received, exceeded all my expectations and I have returned home with a set of skills and confidence to ride in just about any terrain.
Food and beer is scrumptious and inexpensive and the locals in Mijas are friendly and welcoming.
Don’t think about it, just book it and go.

Absolut geniale Tage

“Einzigartige Tage”

Diesmal war unser 'Enduro-Wandergrüppli' in Mijas mit Adventure Ride Center unterwegs. Wir waren dort für sechs Nächte und vier Fahrtage.
Absolut genial, alles stimmte bis ins letzte Detail. Super Betreuung, geniale Landschaften, sehr gutes Material, ausgezeichnete Guides und viel Spass waren garantiert.
Kaz erwartete uns pünktlich am Fughafen sogar mit Getränken. Da der Automatenkaffe im Hotel nicht das gelbe vom Ei war, war es für Kaz selbstverständlich, dass sie uns jeden Morgen frischen Kaffe machte bevor wir losfuhren. Ebenso, kaum zurück von einem geilen Tag, erwartete uns Kaz mit Bier und Softgetränken! Nicht nur mit einem Bier!!!
Die Fahrtage wurden nach unseren Wünschen gestaltet. Wir haben sehr viel gelernt und konnten es gleich umsetzen. Das Gelände bietet für jeden etwas, vom Profi bis zum Anfänger.
Fazit: Nicht wie hin!!!
Besser kann man es nicht machen, sogar die Ausrüstung, welche dort bereit ist, ist vom Feinsten, Klim und Alpinstar!
Wer viel lernen und unglaubliche Fahrtage erleben will, kommt bei Adventure Rider Centre nicht vorbei.

Great!

We just finished three days of riding with the "ARC" and I can easily say it has been some amazing days!
From the moment we landed in Malaga we were in really good hands.
Kaz & Baz with the rest of the "ARC" crew are really professional and friendly.
The equipment and the bikes are top notch.
Two of the guys from our group had one trip with the "ARC" last year, but for the rest of us it was new.
But one thing is for sure, we are all going back again!!

Just completed a day out with Baz & my pal Philip, if you can ride a bike check the website out and the next thing to do is book a day out that takes you to places on you and your bike can only go lovely scenery and great trails, Baz has great knowledge and explains all you need to know, superb day out, I will be back, thanks guys for a brilliant day.

Best ride you can get in Spain!

Just came home from a Very good service and trail riding experience with the guys at Adventure Rider Center in Mijas. All the bikes were in very good condition, inclusive the best of tires! and that you split us in two groups as we have different skills was to every one of us, great satisfaction. We know that it take some time to understand the groups skills and experience but this was relatively quickly sorted and we could set off. Also that we could comunicate our wishes and change to more challenging single track was great. "Enduroboiz" Kongsberg has been to 4-5 different providers of enduro guided events but this was the absolute best!

Off road riding- only one place to go

You will have seen many more glowing reports on this page, and Adventure Riding Centre deserves them all and much more. Baz & Kaz are just the best team for the job, attention to detail is outstanding and every time we go over it feels like going home such is the atmosphere they create. For new riders Baz is one of the best off road teachers around, and the family is welcome too making it accessible to everyone.
Having just booked for the 4th visit, we just cant wait. If you are considering - JUST DO IT,you only live once and there will be no regrets!

Muy buena experiencia

Ha sido toda una experiencia. Convencí a mi hermano para ir a Mijas a probar un par de cilindradas de Husaberg porque quiero comprar una moto de enduro de esas características. Y la misión fue más que cumplida, no sólo pudimos probar varias motos, sino que además aprendimos técnicas básicas de pilotaje que nos enseñaron los instructores y pudimos disfrutar del increíble entorno del campo de Mijas. Además de buenos profesionales el trato personal ha sido impecable. Viajamos en tren de Madrid a Málaga, en el AVE con lo que en tan solo dos horas y media ya estábamos en Málaga. ARC se ocupó de todos Los traslados entre estación, hotel y ARC, así que todo fue may cómodo. Nosotros decidimos quedarnos a dormir en Mijas pueblo, pero se puede hacer ida y vuelta en el mismo día.
Desde luego una experiencia totalmente recomendable y seguro que repetiremos!

Fantastic Day

We have just returned from the Costa Del Sol - whilst down there we decided to have a days trail riding - what a great day - Kaz met us in Mijas and took us to their HQ - perefectly located in the foothills - we were kitted out in top of the range Klim gear and after a brief run down with Baz we were taken out with Baz and Dani on the 4 stroke Husabergs - to their play area - we had such great fun - coming from a trials background they kept finding lots of things to test us - and then it was off to the next play area - and so it went on - eventually it was lunch time and a very nice restaurant was found - lunch provided - it was off on the next track - the attention to detail was second to none - the support from Kaz, Baz, Dani and Dave with all of their enthusiasm is utterly fantastic and if you are considering trail riding you will not be disappointed - we have come back to the UK and have told our other club members of our experience and they are keen to come out with us next year for 2 or 3 days trail riding with the team at Adventure Rider Centre

Magic

You can read a lot of reviews nowadays but at the back of your mind you're just not so sure. Well having just completed 3 riding days with the ARC team and 6 nights in Mijas with my wife and in laws I can only say it was "Magic". I have ridden twice before in Southern Spain, once with trailblazers 3 or 4 years ago and once with toro trail 18 months ago. All I can say is that nothing has come close to the trip we have had with the ARC team, the planning, bikes, kit, routes, advice etc etc has been professional and personal. I could write for hours about how good everyone was but you will not realise a single thing I am saying until you visit them yourself. Kaz, Baz, Dani, Dave and Jaz, Thank you.

Thank You

This was a fantastic few days made by some fantastic people and a brilliant operation. From sweetheart Kaz and little Jaz, who made sure we had a cold beer at the Airport pickup, to action man Baz, who has less than complementary things to say about golf, as THIS is the only way to spend a few days in the South of Spain. To Dani, great company, great rider, great advisor and Dave who made sure all the bikes were in tiptop form. This was an incredible experience from the people, the equipment, the teaching the riding trails, the location, the hotel - could not fault a thing - have to come back - Thank you
