Off-road motorcycle riding in Mijas Spain

Ad Spec, Motorex and Enduro21 head to the EWC with us!

Always happy to take advantage of an opportunity to ride somewhere new, we’ve just come back from a special 3 day trail ride from The ARC to the Spanish round of the EWC!

When we heard that ARC partners Adventure Spec and Motorex were looking for somewhere special to spend a weekend we immediately thought of the Enduro World Championships (EWC) over in Jerez. When they told us they would be inviting Enduro21.com journalist Andreas Glavas along we knew he’d be loving the new Husqvarna Bikes, our great Klim riding kit and of course our superb trails!

In fact we got so excited about the idea we decided to send most of own team over there too…of course there was a little eating involved! Standby for some great forthcoming pics on Facebook and if you have any unusual ride requests give us a call and let us know about your ideas. There isn’t much we won’t do if it involves riding great trails in glorious sunshine!

Many thanks to Paul Gregory (Adventure Spec) , Martin Wabnegger (Motorex), Andreas Glavas (Enduro21.com), Dave, Danny, and of course Baz (The ARC Crew!)

1000ps.at, Motorex and Adventure Spec visit the Adventure Rider Centre

Early last week we were delighted to welcome three members of staff from the 1000ps website (including owner Nils Muller), Dave Lomax from Adventure Spec and Martin Wabnegger from Motorex. We managed to get business out of the way in the first few hours and then got down to what The ARC does best. Riding! (and possibly eating…).

For two days we took them on some of the best trail riding Spain has to offer. We mixed singletrack with scenic and motoX with epic. When we weren’t riding under the blue skies and 30 degree sun we were eating great local food and beer.

We had a great time and judging by their comments, so did they. Check out the pictures and 1000ps.at reviews HERE or the video below.

Thanks for taking the time to come and see us guys, your dates are booked for next spring!

Aim For The Horizon film crew visit the ARC

Having already seen the first Aim For The Horizon film we were really happy to recive a call from the Guys asking for help training James (the newest member of the team) so he would be ready for his off-road ride from the UK to Greece via the Balkans. We were a bit suprised when a film crew turned up at the same time, but that’s showbiz for you!

You can see the next episode (7) on the Aim For The Horizon Website now or we’ll post it on here in a few days.

Check out the rest of the series for free on the Adventure SpecTV YouTube channel.

The ARC visit the Adventure Bike Festival in the UK!

We’re looking forward to seeing a lot of customers old and new as we visit the Adventure Bike Festival in South Wales this weekend (26th - 29th July). If you fancy a trip out to see us we’ll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday in our ARC Popup tent/shop. Baz will be riding and trying to remember what the brown sticky stuff on the floor is and I’ll (Kaz) be chief in charge of sales.

Head over for a chat and don’t forget its free entry unless you want to ride. Check out the event website HERE.

See you soon!

Husaberg and Adventure Spec visit the ARC!

This is cleanest the kit is going to be for the next few days.

Spela Kovacic from Husaberg and Dave Lomax from Adventure Spec have recently been over to see us here at the ARC. Whilst they where here, we got them out on the Spanish trails for a couple of days! Spela rode the Husaberg FE250 and Dave was on his favourite Husaberg, the TE250! It was great to show them some new trails around Mijas, and how everything operates at the ARC. Really looking forward to the next mission!

Jarvis wins Hells Gate for third time

Husaberg and Adventure Rider Centre sponsored rider Graham Jarvisstormed his way to a convincing victory at the 2013 Hell’s Gate Hard Enduro in Italy. With heavy snow ensuring conditions at the Il Ciocco venue would be incredibly challenging, Jarvis made short work of the four-lap main event to claim an impressive 12-minute margin of victory over his nearest rivals.

Jarvis wins season opener

Husaberg and Adventure Rider Centre sponsored rider Graham Jarvis started the new Extreme Enduro Season with a bang with an almost start-to-finish win at The Tough One in Nantmawr Quarry, Shropshire, England.

The 9th edition of the annual The Tough One attracted the very best extreme enduro riders in the world but Graham finished with almost an 8 minute leave of his nearest rival.

The 2013 bikes are here
