9 Days - 10 Nights
"My mission is to encourage more people to get on a bike and get away from their comfort zone for a few months. My life was proundly altered by my time on the road. Putting yourself out there at the mercy of your own wits and the society you are travelling through is a healthy experience. Sadly, to many folk tell me they lack the skills or budget to take on a big trip such as this. They are wrong, its easy.
My 10 day team-building adventure motorcycling course will make you realise that there is nothing to fear. Benefit from my mistakes as I compress every useful fact I have learned over 20 years on the road into those 10 days.
No-one needs to do this course, you are already over-qualified just by being alive. However, if you need a bit of encouragement, or a warm up trip, this is it.
Very important bit...
Motorcycle travel, like so much in life, is a personal business. I cannot tell you what’s right or wrong, good or bad. I can only tell you what worked well for us on Mondo Enduro, Terra Circa and sundry other shorter trips. If the course outline sounds inappropriate for you, then don’t come, you’re right, I’m wrong. I am big on the teamwork low-budget DIY kick. That’s what I am going to immerse you in. If this sounds awful, it probably will be.General Format
10 days - Southern Spain to the Pyrenees and back (2 days Malaga to Pyrenees, 5 days self-navigated trail-riding in the mountains, 2 days back to Malaga on tarmac), Seven people (six plus me), Trail bikes only (500cc or less Husabergs), 100% teamwork, 0% me-time, self-catering, rough camping, no tents, no GPS, strictly no cafes, restaurants or hotels, no back-up vehicle, no phones, soft luggage. The aim is to recreate riding in a wilderness location even though we have to actually do it in Europe! It will be intense and tiring with little privacy or molly-coddling. However, it will be an unforgettably positive experience. If you want the rejuvenating pummelling of a hot shower and the crispness of cotton sheets gliding across your road-weary buttocks then this course is not for you. Prepare to be exhausted.
